whiff of joy - 40

Well well well..... I'm back. I didn't blog for a month - where did time go?

This is a card for the whiff of joy challenge no 40 and the sketch was I bit different that I use to make, but the fun thing about challenges is that you get to something you normally wouldn't.

I love lilac but normally ( again ) I do not use this colour, so why not try when I've got some lovely paper:)
This was all for this time, but will be back later again.

different cards

On june 26th I was at a friends shop with a bunch of other scrapping ladies. We all got some paper and cardstock, and here is what I've made. Its not some colours I normally use, but they came out ok I think.

This image is Bildmålarne again, mimosa.
Used a tab and word window punch from Stampin' up and some cirkles and scalloped cirkle. And a border punch.

This time the images is whiff of joy, but you already knew that ;)
Some large stones in half and the word window punch for the greeting. I also distressed the edges of the coloured paper under the image.

Again mimosa and the word window and tab punch.

And last but not least a whiff of joy angel. Again the word window punch and some brads, and flowers from prima.

Once again I hoped you enjoyed what you saw and hope to see you here soon again:)

Sonja in Germany was so kind to send me some stamp images and I wanted to give her some of mine that she didn't have - what seemed impossible because she has so many herself ;)

I made a quick card to follow the images. Image is like you already know a magnolia one.

Also made a little booklet for the images so that they still where whole when arriving in Germany.

The inside of the booklet - images are from Bildmalane and its the mimosa girl and mimo boy.

The backside of the booklet, I added pockets here too, because of all the images for her:)

Whiff of Joy

This is my card for the Whiff of Joy challenge - the theme is Black & white and add one other colour.The stamp motive is ofcourse a whiff of joy and has been coloured with Twinkling H2O's.The black 'n' white designer papers are from by Nagly and the lilac once from Prima.

My inspiration is from a card that I recieved from Flati in Germany who is really great in guidin' and cheering one up:) Thanks to you my dear.

Harmonika tag kort / accordion tag card

PUha.. så blev det første kort til sommerens tre fødselsdage lavet.. vi har tre i familien der har fødselsdag indenfor 1 uge.. *suk*..
Den første var min svigerfar, og da de fleste kort vi scrappere laver er til kvinder eller ser lidt barnlige ud.. manglede jeg et "mandekort". Så jeg fandt en tutorial hos Dawn og gik igang.
På indersiden af kortet har jeg dog lavet nogle modifikationer sådan at kortet kunne indeholde en ramme rundt om den indsatte billede, synes det gav et bedre finish.

Pewww.. this is the first card of this summer birthdays. Three persons in our family have birthday so close at eachother - within 7 days.
I looked in the internet for a "maskulin" card, but all cards seems not to be for a man, so I decided to make this card after a tutorial at Dawn's place.
On the inside of the card I made some modifications so that the card would get a frame around the pictures on the inside - and I think it was a nice finish.

Oh mein G**, wir haben in der Familie drei leute die alle innerhalb einer Woche Geburtstag haben, und hier ist dann die erste karte.
Ich habe im Internet nach verschiedene Männer Karten gesucht, aber keine gefunden. Aber als ich die Karte als einen tutorial bei Dawn fand, habe ich sie einfach gemacht - und ich brauche wohl garnicht sagen dass der empfänger ( der großvater meiner Tochter) sehr glücklich wurde:)
Ich habe einen Rahmen um die zwei Fotos auf der innerseite gemacht, denn ich fand das ein finish dort gebraucht war :)

Indersiden med en ramme om billedet / the inside with a frame around the picture / die erste seite, ich habe einen Rahmen um das Bild gemacht.
Inderside 2, igen med billedramme / inside again, and with a frame around the picture / innerseite, und wieder min einem Rahmen.
Et åben kort med tags der falder til hver sin side når man hiver i kortet, deraf navnet harmonika. / the open card with the tags falling to each side when you pull it. / Die offene Karte mit Tag's die in zwei richtungen fallen wenn man an der Karte zieht - daher auch der Name.
igen, bare lidt lysere / again, only lighter / wieder offen, aber heller :)

Diamond card

Jeg var blevet lidt træt af de typiske 15*15 kort så derfor ville jeg prøve noget nyt og her er så et helt nyt kort ( for mig ihvertfald).
Det kaldes et Diamond card pga formen på det øverste stykke. Billedet er blevet meget lyst, men sådan er det jo med forkert lys og en blitz:)

I got tired of making the typical size card, so I decided to make a new one. This one is totally new (to me).
Its called a Diamond card because of the square that looks like a diamond. The picture got pretty light but this is how it comes out on a picture - its prettier irl:)

Fronten af kortet med båndet sat fast på højre bagside. Front of the card, and the ribbon is glued to the back of the right side.

Brun basic karton, papir fra Basic Grey, og mønsterpapir fra 7 gypsies. Stemplet er fra Penny Black.

Når man åbner båndet popper front firkanten op / Unfolding the ribbon the front square simply pops up:)

Convention bidrag:)

Så er min første convention overstået og jeg er totalt bombet i låget må jeg sige. Alle de indtryk, nye mennesker, alle butikker og all den snak :). Men hygge mig det gjorde jeg så afgjort må jeg sige. Tak til dem jeg sad hos og tak til alle dem som gjorde dagen uforglemmelig. Og jeg er sikker på det ikke er sidste gang jeg er at finde på en convention - men hold op hvor gik de 9½ time dog vildt hurtigt.

Well, this was my first Convention but I enjoyed it like h***:), but all theese impressions, new people, the shops and all that talking:) But I definitly had a wonderful day. Thanks to you I was joining at the scrap table and all thoose who made this a great day. I now for sure, this is NOT the last time you will find me on a convention, but boy where did the 9½ hours go?

Man kunne på convention deltage i 1 konkurrence med 2 LayOuts og 2 kort. Skitser og mine bidrag kan ses nedenfor. Desværre vandt jeg ikke.

At the convention there was a challenge where you could join with 2 different LayOuts and 2 cards. Underneath you can see the sketch and my interpretation of'em. Unfortunatly I didn't win.
