whiff of joy - 40

Well well well..... I'm back. I didn't blog for a month - where did time go?

This is a card for the whiff of joy challenge no 40 and the sketch was I bit different that I use to make, but the fun thing about challenges is that you get to something you normally wouldn't.

I love lilac but normally ( again ) I do not use this colour, so why not try when I've got some lovely paper:)
This was all for this time, but will be back later again.

Christmas cards - in july yes:)

Ok.. I know.... its a bit early.. but every year the same thing happens. I keep on putting my own cards for family and friend at the bottom on my list and therefor it always are some quick making cards.
This year I wanted to try NOT to do that so I've already made two and more to come soon.

The image is a hÄngler and stÄngler that I've got from Sonja in Germany - thanks a lot.
The christmas flower is a die for the QK squeeser. And the saying "jul" means christmas btw.
Image is as always coloured with my H2O's.

Another hÄngler image and done by the same sketch as the first one shown:)

Hopefully you enjoyed a christmas card in july, although the sun is shinning and its summer. But before you know it, the summer is gone and christmas is knocking on the door:)

different cards

On june 26th I was at a friends shop with a bunch of other scrapping ladies. We all got some paper and cardstock, and here is what I've made. Its not some colours I normally use, but they came out ok I think.

This image is Bildmålarne again, mimosa.
Used a tab and word window punch from Stampin' up and some cirkles and scalloped cirkle. And a border punch.

This time the images is whiff of joy, but you already knew that ;)
Some large stones in half and the word window punch for the greeting. I also distressed the edges of the coloured paper under the image.

Again mimosa and the word window and tab punch.

And last but not least a whiff of joy angel. Again the word window punch and some brads, and flowers from prima.

Once again I hoped you enjoyed what you saw and hope to see you here soon again:)

Sonja in Germany was so kind to send me some stamp images and I wanted to give her some of mine that she didn't have - what seemed impossible because she has so many herself ;)

I made a quick card to follow the images. Image is like you already know a magnolia one.

Also made a little booklet for the images so that they still where whole when arriving in Germany.

The inside of the booklet - images are from Bildmalane and its the mimosa girl and mimo boy.

The backside of the booklet, I added pockets here too, because of all the images for her:)

Bytte billeder / switch pictures

Nogen gange tænker jeg tit på om man skulle prøve at bytte billeder og lave et layout for en anden og omvendt. Det kunne være sjovt at se hvad andre kan få ud af billederne - og en anden måde at få inspiration måske?
Nogen der kunne være interesseret?

Sometimes I think about the idea from the US where you switch pictures with someone else and to see what they get out of the pictures. Also to learn more about techniques.. someone interested?

Circle of life

Et layout jeg har lavet idag.. det omhandler min graviditet med min skønne prinsesse Athena. At man selv synes man ligner en hval / en der har slugt en badebold er jo den anden side af sagen.
Bag hvert billede er der gemt en lille tag der fortæller hvilken uge jeg er i og hvad der skete specielt der - eller hvordan jeg havde det.

Papiret er fra Scraphouse, overskrift fra Cricut, blomster fra prima og fra scrap is fun.

A layout with me as a whale - while I was pregnant with my little princess Athena. Behind every picture is a little tag with week number and what happend that week or how I felt at that paticular moment. - and yes I made a journal trough the whole pregnancy :)

clear giftboxes

Disse skønne clearbokse er lavet efter min egen skabelon. Hos Gina K så jeg at man kunne lave et låg som passede til to af de clearboxes man kunne købe hos hende. Men da jeg er for nærig valgte jeg at lave min egen model.
Selve boksen er af et ganske normalt stykke transperant man bruger i skolen ( kan købes i boghandler) str a4.
Jeg synes der skulle matchende kort til så her var hvad nogle tidligere elever fik til deres konfirmation - en hilsen fra mig:)

Some clearboxes made to some of my former student.
I saw the lid on Gina Ks page and instead of buying the clearboxes I simply made my own ( Gina's has two small boxes to fit inside one lid).
